Challenge
When it comes to company growth, the answer to “when do you need it by” is the proverbial “yesterday.” This website development project was no exception.
A leading eLearning company approached No Bounds Digital about developing a custom website. The company needed 46 templates and over 5,000 pages of content in two weeks’ time. The deadline was firm: the website coincided with a new product launch and the content and messaging were all on the new website. The company provided design files, but no development work had taken place.
Solution
No Bounds Digital deployed our project management and website development resources to complete the project on time. We established weekly meetings with the client, as well as frequent email communication and ad hoc calls.
No Bounds Digital strategically focused on what the visitor would see on the website. We deferred some site testing processes until the post-launch phase for that reason.
During the project:
- We relied on the HubSpot CMS for page speed optimization, forgoing image optimization until after launch.
- Some technical SEO work was done following the launch.
- QA focused on the most critical pages first.
- With design files built for desktop, No Bounds Digital used the built-in responsiveness of the HubSpot CMS to optimize for mobile users
Results
No Bounds Digital produced an attractive, modern website that proudly showcases our client’s new products and services. The website launched on time all pages rendering as expected. Since the launch, we have continued to work with this company to iterate on the design based on the clicks, conversions, and other analytics data.
