An Ingenious Automated Outreach System For Layr to Notify End Users about Insurance Policies Easily and Quickly

Challenge
For six years, Layr reached out to their clients about expiring policies manually, creating thousands of emails in order to keep their customers knowledgeable about upcoming policies.
As a technology-based business, Layr realized this manual process couldn’t scale into the future. They needed an automated system that could streamline their processes with the ability to automatically stop itself if the need to notify clients of expiring policies weren’t present. Layr initially tried to create their own in-house automated process, but were unsuccessful in their efforts.
Solution
No Bounds Digital designed and developed a new HubSpot-based process that could automate their emailing needs. The process looped through all agencies and their associated policies, using epoch-time-based external tools to determine when policies were within a certain threshold of expiration. After doing so, emails containing all expiring policies were sent to the clients. If clients either repurchased or canceled the policies, an automated stop system was put in place to prevent further emails from being sent.
Results
Before
Layr had no automated emailing system in place, manually creating all outgoing emails to clients about reinstating expiring policies for roughly 6 years, wasting thousands of hours.
After
No Bounds Digital created a unique, automated emailing system to remove unnecessary work from Layr’s workflow. This automated system can notify clients about policies expiring within a certain range of days, and when the notifications aren’t needed anymore, automatically stops the emailing process without outside input.
