Automated Listings Process Saves 600+ Hours Each Year and Enhanced Experience for Customers
Challenge
FP Transitions provides end-to-end solutions for buying, selling, and transforming financial services practice looking to significantly modernize their web presence. Partnering with No Bounds Digital's help, their website was completely redesigned and code optimized. Their emailing system was autonomously synced with their database so it would be able to automatically share information with potential clients.
Each year, FP Transitions lists more than 400 financial practices across the United States for sale in addition to offering a variety of other services to financial practices. The process to add practices for sale to the website was a tedious one. Updates from the listings team can happen many times before the listing is published, the changes are urgent, and since these modifications were manual, prone to human requiring several layers of review.
For each listing, the marketing team needed to update the category page of listings, create an individual listing web page, create a ‘pre-flash’ email announcement, and another email announcement of the listing. FP Transitions estimates that it takes 90 minutes for each listing for the marketing team to create the website and email collateral. Across all of their listings, this process takes more than 600 hours of the marketing team’s time annually.
Solution
The information about each listing was always available in Salesforce, so optimized the integration with Salesforce and leveraged the Marketing and Operations Hubs to sync the data between the CRM systems and automatically create the website and email marketing collateral.
The integration with Salesforce syncs standard objects, contacts, companies, and deals; as well as a number of custom objects. then used custom coded workflows powered by Operations Hub to sync custom object records with HubDB.
This gave FP Transitions both the benefits of an object, such as being able to associate the record with other objects and include in workflows, as well as the benefits of HubDB including the flexibility that FP Transitions required for automated, programmable email, automatically generated a listings category page and individual listings on the website from the HubSpot database. No Bounds also used this database to automatically generate email announcements about the listings.
Results
The automated listing launch process has benefited FP Transitions significantly. The marketing team has now saved more than 600 staff hours annually. The listings team can be confident that changes to listings are being made in near real-time and are error free. The updated website design including the listings category page and individual listings pages provides an improved user experience for FP Transitions customers.
